Natural Hair Tip #2 : Water

Hey!

So, i’m here with another tip and that tip is WATER! Yep, that’s right, WATER!

The best way to add moisture to our hair is by adding water to our hair. Our hair thrives off water because it’s the best way to quench it’s thirst.

I know there are people who think that water is the main cause to their hair being dry, but that isn’t the case. Your hair’s dryness could be because the shampoo you are using is stripping your hair (sulphate shampoos) or it could even be the fact that the water is hard. Hard water is basically water that has a high level of minerals in it. People usually get purification systems if this is a problem.

Just applying water to your hair isn’t all you should do. Actually drinking water benefits your hair and scalp as well. Drinking 8 cups of water a day can definitely help with the growth and health of your hair. If you’re not a water drinker, it can be hard to consume 8 cups of water a day. So my suggestion would be to start off slow. Eventually it’ll become natural. If you need to add some fun to water, try adding fruit to your water, like lemons, oranges, strawberries, etc. Maybe a little flavor is what you need.
