Empty Product Review (Creme of Nature/The Body Shop)

Hey guys! Today I am bringing you guys a review of two products that I have recently finished. These two products are the Creme of Nature Argan Oil From Morocco Apple Cider Vinegar Clarifying Rinse for natural hair and the Pinita Colada Exfoliating Cream Body Scrub.

Creme of Nature Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse:

I started doing ACV rinses at the beginning of the year and became really consistent with doing them. I decided to do them because of my itchy/flaky scalp. It somewhat has helped, but that’s another story for another day lol. I received this product in a curlBox subscription box and decided to use this to save time from always making my own.

Now, I am not a fan of this line. Not because it doesn’t work for my hair type, but because I cannot stand the smell. I have tried many products from this line and I liked the results it gives me, but the smell is too much for me. It lingers in my hair for days as well so that’s why I don’t really use this line. I decided to use this one because I knew when I used it I would be rinsing it out and conditioning and the smell wouldn’t be there by the end of my wash day.

This product was ok and I wanted to give it a chance. It has an extremely light lather, but I would say it helped with the cleanliness of my hair (good thing I always shampooed when doing this) or even helped with my itchy scalp. It does strip your hair however, or at least it did that with my hair lol. It also says it provides shine and moisture, didn’t experience that either. On the bottle it says that it is supposed to remove product build-up, seal the cuticle, help protect the Natural pH of the hair and refresh the scalp. It is free of sulfates, silicone, mineral oil, petroleum and alcohols.

Now i’m not a HUGE ingredient reader, sometimes I like to check for bad alcohols, but today I looked at the ingredient list. Now people always say that the top 5 ingredients are the main ingredients in that specific product. Here are the top 5 ingredients:

  1. Aqua/Water/EAU
  2. PEG-40 Castor Oil
  3. Glycerin
  4. Parfum (Fragrance)
  5. Acetum (Vinegar)

Now here’s my issues with this list. Number 1, I feel like water and vinegar should have been the top 2, I mean this is an ACV rinse. Number 2, why is fragrance so high on the ingredient list? Those were my concerns. I could be thinking to hard about it, but it did raise my eyebrows a little lol.

Overall I would rate this product 3/10. The benefits it said that it offers I didn’t get. I don’t really feel like it did much for my hair. I wanted it to work, which is why I used all of it, but I never noticed any differences.

Pinita Colada Exfoliating Cream Body Scrub:

As far as this product I loved it. Smelled like a pina colada lol. It was a scrub and I love body scrubs and it worked really well for my skin. Made My skin feel soft and moisturize after showering. I would definitely repurchase this again. This is a limited edition collection, i’ll leave a link to the collection below in case you are interested in purchasing and trying for your self. This is a quicker review as I don’t really have anything negative to say about this product.

Overall, i’d rate this product a 10/10.
